The Tesla Model Y has been out for over a year now, and the Model 3 for 3 years. In that time, there have been countless examples of lessons learned in the ordering process.
We have personally taken delivery of 2 Tesla Model Y’s and are about to take delivery of our new Tesla Model 3 SR+ very soon. With those experiences, there are 10 mistakes I have made myself, and I see other make when starting their Tesla Model Y & 3 journey.
Things from choosing the right configuration, charging needs, etc. Everything that should be straight forward is not always so simple to figure out. With that in mind, here are my experience guided suggestions on the 10 things people wish they would have done differently when ordering their new Tesla Model Y or Model 3.
